Whats in a name? One of the most frequently asked questions I get is if there is a difference between a hydro-mulcher and a hydroseeder. The The terms are interchangable in that they both refer to the hydroseeding process of mixing mulch, seed and water in a tank and appling it            to the soil to create a stand of turf or vegetation. Bowie has used the name hydro-mulcher to describe their machines because they wish to accent one the most important advantages of a Bowie - its ability to spray thick hydro-mulch slurries.
